China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., Ltd. (CAERI) is a national first-class research institute. It actively serves national strategies and industry development, deeply fulfills the responsibilities and missions of a central enterprise, and focuses on the three technical fields of “Safety”, “Green” and “Experience”. The Energy & Power Division of CAERI was established on January 10, 2023. It has three subsidiaries: China Automotive Engineering Research Institute New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (Jiangsu) New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. The division currently has 277 employees, with 51% holding master's or doctoral degrees, including 14 doctors and 46 with associate senior titles or above. Centering on the national energy strategy, the division focuses on key technologies of safety and energy efficiency in the development of electric energy\hydrogen energy\energy storage industries. Guided by standards, it provides services covering the entire industrial value chain such as energy power inspection and testing, R&D and manufacturing of high-end equipment and key components, and aims to build a comprehensive solution provider for energy power with core competitiveness and distinctive features. Its service areas include testing and certification, test evaluation, technical services, equipment development, industry-research consulting, and brand empowerment.
